The documentation that comes with your software consists of two components, online Help and online reference documentation in book format. To view PTC Help in a Web browser, the Help search path must be supplied here and the Help files must be installed.
Enter the Help URL or the full path to the directory where you have installed or plan to install the Help files. Help searches for online and print documentation files in this directory.
Note: This procedure creates a link to the Help directory. It does not install Help.
1. Click Add.
2. Specify the location of the Help installation directory.
For example, if you are running Help from a CD-ROM, enter the CD-ROM drive letter (for example, C:\). If you are running Help from a local or network drive, enter the full path—including the drive letter for Windows NT/98/95 (for example, G:\ptc\prohelp). If you are running Help from an intranet or a remote Web server, enter the URL to the Help installation directory (for example, http://<servername>/<path>/<help> ).
You can also click the folder icon, navigate the folder hierarchy, and browse to the Help directory.
Use Edit and Delete to modify your Help location.
